Education & Calling

From Engineering to Chiropractic Medicine

Dr. Morris began college in electrical engineering at General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, Michigan, later transferring to the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. While excelling in engineering, he realized his calling lay in direct health sciences and helping people.

He chose chiropractic medicine for its drug-free, non-invasive, biomechanical approach. Attending Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri, he graduated with honors in August 1993, passing state and national boards to become licensed in Indiana that same year.

Serving Indianapolis Since 1993

Choosing Indianapolis for its perfect balance of metropolitan opportunity and small-town warmth, Dr. Morris began practicing in 1993 following the passing of Dr. Bruce Chalker. In fall 2006, he expanded into his current clinic at 4760 E 62nd St.

Family is central to Dr. Morris's life. He has two adult daughters, Krissy (a ceramic artist at the Stutz building) and Kory (married to Rick with three children). Outside the clinic, spending time with his grandchildren ("PooPaw") is his greatest joy.
